About the English class, I think this class is good. At least, I can learn something from this class. To be honest, Mr. Manno is a good teacher. Every class we have clear goal. And sometimes we will have funny and interesting topic. Actually，I think English class is good enough, at least I like it and it is also fits me, so I have no idea what kind of suggestions I can suggest.

  If you really want some suggestions, I think maybe you can make the class more active. Like Mr. Doyle’s class, he prepare a dancing program that can help us understand force. Everyone enjoys this program and learn a lot. You can prepare a similar program in English class too. Because English class is the first class everyday, many students feel sleepy in the first class, so you can “wake them up”. For example, we can add some acting parts in the English class, you can pick one student to act Bilbo, and pick another student to act Gandalf, let them use different tones to perform. This can also help us to understand the book.

 Mr. Manno, I think you can improve your evilness, make your evilness more variable. 

   Angela 1:  this is an interesting chapter. But Bilbo is not a hero in this chapter. What a pity! I think Bilbo is a brave and great man in this book, but in the chapter 2, he is a timid and he has a little tiny vanity. Maybe saying he has vanity is not exactly, the reason why I say he has vanity is that he want to improve himself a good burglar. To improve yourself is not a bad thing, but you shouldn’t think about this in that dangerous situation, although the others may laugh at you. Personal safety is the most important. Another reason that I determine he is not a hero in this chapter because he hide in the jungle.

   Angela 2: well, actually I think he is a hero in this chapter. As we all know, Bilbo Baggins has Baggins family’s blood in his body, so he really doesn’t like adventure, and sometimes he is  weak, but he defeats his weakness in this chapter. He goes on the adventure with the dwarfs in this chapter. And although he is caught by the trolls, he tries not to expose his identity and he also doesn’t tell trolls where the dwarfs are. This shows his wisdom.  

  Super Angela:  there can’t be a perfect person in the world. I hope Bilbo can be bravre in the future, use his wisdom to help the dwarfs. 

   Mr. Manno, you are careless today, you haven’t told us how many words we should write. Is this means we can write  less than 200 words if we want? Wow, that’s great!

  Well, this question is free answer question. Everyone may has different idea. For me, I think, the hobbit will be successful with the dwarf’s help. Evil can never prevail over good. Although the hobbit is small, maybe not powerful enough, but the hobbit has wisdom and its body is small. The hobbit can be more agile. The dragon must be less agile than the hobbit.

  But, if I only have one choice, I will choose the dwarfs. You know, the dwarfs have experience of actual combat. And they are braver than the hobbits. They know how to fight, and they are strong, although they only have 13 dwarfs. I think the dragon doesn’t have the thinking logic and it is huge, or l can say it is clumsy, the skills of the dragon are not so many. Actually, the dragon may not as horrible as we thought. If the dwarfs can have a good plane before they fight with the dragon, the dwarfs may have a chance to win the dragon. But sometimes, the dwarfs can’t come down, and this is not good during fighting, if they can keep calm and think more, be cleverer, they must have more percent to win. 

      The song on page 17-18 is very hard to understand, but between the lines, I can feel the dwarves’ afraid and courage. The song talks about the adventure journey. There are cold and misty mountains, thousands of years of underground cave, pale enchanted gold, dwarves, ancient king, elvish lord, flowers, stars, dragon, fire and so on in this song.

      If you sing this song, you should use a low voice, and a solemn tone. Suppose you are going on a journey, and it is full of dangerous, you may never come back, you may die during the adventure. How do you feel? Can you smile happily? Can you feel relax. Absolutely not. The fear will crowded with your heart, it go through your head and make you feel afraid. In ancient China, when the soldiers were going to have a war with their enemies, they would drink a bowl of wine. This would made them feel less afraid and nervous. The wine gave them courage and power. Some of them would have dinner with their families because they knew they might never see their parents, wives, and children again. Everyone sat in front of the table all had heavy hearts. For the same reason, the dwarves also like the soldiers, they have heavy hearts. Maybe this song can give them power and courage, it can also comfort their trepidation. To sing this song must be earnest, full of emotion and be serious because this is may the last song you can sing.  

     Must away ere break of day, hope lies ahead. Take up your arms, fight with the darkness. 

Well, this week is so awful that I don’t want to look back. Mr. Life, why you are always  tricky and always trouble me? And sometimes you are not fair too. I feel extremely tired and I miss my old friends. Mr. Life, you are so changeable. I can’t understand what you are thinking, can you prompt me? You like playing joke with me, and sometimes makes me mad. Is this funny? Fine, I know complaint about Mr. Life is foolish because no matter how awful the life is, I still should continue my life. 

Mr. Life, I hope next week will be nice. 

 Well, this is a good question, Mr. Manno you finally finds your IQ!

 “The Hobbit” is really hard for us to understand, because the writer wrote this book a long time ago, so there are many ancient words in the book. In order to understand the book well, we should grasp some reading skills. For example, if you are reading the article and you find that there are some words you do not know, do not look the vocabulary up in the dictionary immediately, continue reading, when you finish a sentence or paragraph, then you can look the words up in the dictionary. I suggest you to guess the meanings of the words before you look these up in the dictionary, it is helpful. Some words have prefix or the suffix, they are easier to guess. When you reading the words in the book, try to imagine a picture in your mind, this will help you to remember the plot better. Don’t pursuit the speed, only understand all the sentences then you can go on reading next chapter. If you have any confused or question, you can discuss with the classmates or ask teacher, let him to help you.

 To be succeed at understanding “The Hobbit” is not as difficult as you think. Try to enjoy the process of reading, and reading is an enjoyable activity. 

     Mr. Manno, I want to complaint today’s topic, I don’t know how the rest of students think of the blog today, but all the boarders all had a headache, because of the title. 250 words? You are too evil! Oh, gosh! I know my complaint is useless, so, I decide to finish the homework but I will against with you until you becomes an angel. Ha-ha!

Took’s family like to go adventure, but Baggins’ family do not like to go adventure, they like to enjoy their pleased and peaceful lives, just like Baggins in the book, living in the hobbit whole, and has a quiet life. Took’s family isn’t as rich as Baggins’s family, but both of them are not poor, so the neighborhood are more respect Baggins. Baggins’ father is from Baggins’ family, his mother is from Took’s family. His parents gave birth to him. Because of this special circumstances, Baggins have both of the habits, he can enjoy his peaceful life, and he can also join the Gandalf’s “army”, to go adventure. He is a “comprehensive” hobbit. 

 I like Took’s family, because I like going adventure, and just as my thought, Baggins go with Gandalf to go adventure finally.  I think maybe Baggins’ mother’s influence is bigger than Baggins’ father’s. And it is good. I hope Baggins will have a nice trip.

By the way, Bill is crazy because this blog troubled him a lot. He even wanted to destroy the book！

   Well, I don’t think the hobbit whole is nice enough for me. Don’t you think the environment in the hobbit whole is awful? Of course Mr. Manno not. He likes the hobbit very much. I have had a room for me to have a rest, the hobbit whole is superfluous. According to the book, not all the rooms have windows, staying in a room without the window, I’ll be crazy and mad. That is too constrain, so I don’t want to live in the hobbit whole. Although it is comfortable, it still isn’t attractive. Do you want to live with those hobbits which are short and have big feet? The hobbit whole is fit for the hobbit, so the height must not enough for me to stay in. I am much taller than them, and I can’t imagine what does their bathroom look like. Don't try to change my idea, that’s impossible. I have high demands for the living place, the hobbit whole is unqualified . I don’t mean to hurt Mr. Manno’s heart, but super Angela has had super living place already. 

Well, I think this is a silly question, I am super Angela, what do you think how well I can do? Of course well done! It must be full marks! Although I don’t know what is Mr. Manno’s opinion , I think I can do the best. You know I always best in the class, ha-ha. Oh, I am just kidding. I am a nice person, not arrogant like that.

  Actually, I think my grade can’t be too poor, because I spent a lot of time typing it, and my mom told me, giving and reaping a proportionate, so I believe it won’t be poor. I really enjoyed the process of writing this autobiography, the reflection made me remember some nice memory, and also the pain in the growing road. But the pain made people mature.

 I tried my best, then I needn’t worried about my grade. No matter how the grade will be, I do my utmost, that’s enough.

  I hope I can satisfied whit my grade. Don’t be too evil, Evil Mr. Manno, all the stories in my autobiography are true, maybe some of them are a little bit overstate. Anyway, good luck!
